- Humanitarian Memorial
Gunnersbury Park boasts 72 hectares of Grade II* listed parkland in the heart of west London. From open lawns perfect for a picnic, formal gardens to delight any budding horticulturist and tranquil lakes to go boating on in the summer months, Gunnersbury Park offers something for everyone.

On 1 Oct 2025, a new memorial, was installed at Gunnersbury Park. The Humanitarian Memorial, created by artist Michael Landy, CBE, RA, both honours humanitarian aid workers who have been killed in the course of their work, and celebrates humanitarianism and those who continue to put their lives at risk to help others in need.

Stir Up Sunday

Join Lizzie the kitchen maid and Mrs.Weller the Housekeeper as they prepare the house for Christmas. Dress as maids and footmen to scrub the floor, polish the silverware, and make a traditional decoration to take home. Learn the stories behind traditional Christmas foods, whilst pounding the sugar and spices. Don't forget to stir the plum pudding and make a Christmas wish!

Something for everyone

Throughout the day, we have three different sessions. Our first session is a relaxed session for anyone who might need a quieter experience where they are free to move around. Next is our session for younger children, which is aimed at for children 4-7 with a focus on dressing up. Finally, our last session of the day is for all ages, but really focusing on 8+ as it is more of a performance. All participants will get to stir the Christmas pudding and make a traditional Christmas decoration to take home.
