Structure and Governance

The Gunnersbury Museum and Park Development Trust is a Company Limited by Guarantee No 9152522 and a Registered Charity No 1168709. In 2023, the Trust acquired the Gunnersbury Community Interest Company (CIC), a non-profit created to serve the community, with any surplus from commercial trading reinvested to support its social mission.

Our Volunteer Board Members

Both Gunnersbury’s Trustee Board and CIC Board are comprised of committed volunteers united by a shared passion for preserving and promoting Gunnersbury Park and Museum as a vital community resource. Board members freely give their time to oversee the strategic direction and financial health of the Trust and its trading subsidiary, maintaining accountability and transparency.

Gunnersbury has so much to offer, from our Grade II* listed heritage park to our history museum, our celebrations of life in West London, sports and recreational facilities. The diversity of this offering is mirrored by a broad range of backgrounds and experience across our two boards. This includes knowledge and understanding of the local area and its diverse communities, of the heritage and cultural sector, public parks and green spaces. Our trustees have experience in fundraising, communications, community engagement, accountancy, project management/strategic planning and HR, while the volunteer NEDs on our trading subsidiary’s board have commercial, entrepreneurial expertise and familiarity with the leisure, hospitality and events industries.

We are always happy to hear from enthusiastic, motivated members of the local community interested in helping develop and shape one of the area’s most important and popular amenities.
