Make your own travel sketchbook

Follow in the footsteps of famous artists and make your own travel sketchbook with local artist Nadja Plein.

Keeping a holiday travel sketchbook, as a visual diary of the summer holidays – be it stay-cations or trips further afield! – is a wonderful way to engage with the world around us. It encourages us to really look, listen and interact with our surroundings.

In this workshop you will make your own concertina travel sketchbook. You will learn about what sorts of things artists of the past drew and wrote in their sketchbooks. And, you will make your first entry in your new sketchbook, drawing one of the many beautiful and interesting things around Gunnersbury Park.

£5.00 per child, adults free. Suitable for children of all ages. All materials will be provided. Children need to be accompanied by an adult
