Welcome to Gunnersbury Park and Museum
It’s been a special summer here at Gunnersbury as we celebrated the opening of our new museum. After a number of years of restoration, the museum opened on 23 June to a weekend of celebrations and activities for the whole family. We are now open Tuesday – Sunday and entry is free, so why not pop in and explore the history of this part of west London told through the stories of its people.
There’s also a special free art exhibition featuring artwork created by women of different faith backgrounds in Ealing with the artist Katy Beinart. The exhibition explores faith, fabric and locality and opens on 19 October.
If you’re looking for space to play with the family, walk the dog or simply want to feel miles away from anywhere, then our parkland is the place to head this autumn. As leaves turn to gold, conkers line the ground beneath and the air starts to turn crisp, there is no better time to come and explore our beautiful surroundings.
And there’s lots for the kids to do as well. From trails to craft activities to the simple joy of playing in the playground there’s plenty of family favourites to discover.
Our café is all set for colder days too – the wood-fired pizza oven is on, the hot chocolate is waiting and a range of delicious hot meals are ready for you to choose from.
