Welcome to Gunnersbury Park and Museum
It’s been a special year here at Gunnersbury as we celebrated the opening of our new museum. After a number of years of restoration, the museum opened on 23 June 2018 to a weekend of celebrations and activities for the whole family. We are now open Tuesday – Sunday and entry is free, so why not pop in and explore the history of this part of west London told through the stories of its people.
There’s also a special free art exhibition – Paralympic Heritage: Stories from Ealing & Hounslow, an exhibition presented by the National Paralympic Heritage Trust. Coming soon in our exhibition space we have Treasured Threads: Unpicking Gunnersbury’s Quilts.
If you’re looking for space to play with the family, walk the dog or simply want to feel miles away from anywhere, then our parkland is the place to be.
And there’s lots for the kids to do as well. From trails to craft activities to the simple joy of playing in the playground there’s plenty of family favourites to discover.
Our café is all set for summer with a new menu. Along with the ever-popular wood-fired pizza oven we have some great new salads and are now stocking Camden Town beers.
Please note that at different times of the year, certain areas of the Park are used for our schools’ Outdoor Learning service, we would be grateful if Park users and dog walkers could be mindful of this.
