Queer Activism Begins at Home: Telling LGBTQ+ Stories in Historic Houses

Tuesday 11 February

Join us as we address the silence of LGBTQ+ narratives in heritage sites with Dr Sean Curran of the National Trust.

Focusing on Sutton House in Hackney, Sean raises questions about the roles of curators, artists and activists in challenging dominant narratives in public history and considers the roles historic houses and other heritage sites can play in creatively interpreting queer lives and histories for contemporary audiences.

Ticket price includes refreshments.
