Mixed Blessings from a Cambridge Union

Professor Dame Elizabeth N Anionwu is an Ealing resident of nearly 50 years. Emeritus Professor of Nursing at the University of West London, she was the first sickle cell nurse specialist in the UK. Elizabeth was also Vice-Chairperson of the Mary Seacole Memorial Statue Appeal. In her talk Dame Elizabeth will reflect on how, despite her early life in a Catholic children’s home in Birmingham, she managed to achieve a fulfilling nursing career in west London. Elizabeth will be signing copies of her book, Mixed Blessings from a Cambridge Union.
