Monday 1 April 2019

Following the recent announcement that the Lovebox and Citadel festivals will be taking place in Gunnersbury Park on 12, 13 and 14 July 2019, Gunnersbury Community Interest Company (CIC) is hosting a series of evening public meetings at the end of each month, where people will have the opportunity to meet the festival organisers and be kept informed on the latest event developments.

Two public meeting events took place earlier in February and March, with further monthly meetings planned between April and June this year. The meetings will be held at 18:00 and 20:00 in Gunnersbury Park Museum’s Rothschild Dining Room at the end of each month, with each session running for up to 90 minutes.

These monthly series of evening events are an opportunity for the public to engage with the festival organisers who will present updates on their event delivery plans. People attending will also be able to ask the festival organisers questions at the end of their presentation.

These public engagement events have been organised by Gunnersbury CIC to continue to ensure that residents and stakeholders are kept informed on the Lovebox and Citadel festivals. Gunnersbury CIC is working closely with the festival organiser MAMA Festivals and partners Ealing Council and London Borough of Hounslow to ensure both festivals are delivered successfully, with minimal disruption to the local community.

A dedicated community website can be accessed via where updates on plans for the events and details of these public consultation meetings can be found.
