International Women’s Month: Tour & Talk

Saturday 9 March

Join us for this special talk and tour celebrating women significant to both Gunnersbury and west London.

Great Women of Gunnersbury – Julia Tubman, Curator, Gunnersbury Park Museum.
Delve into the detail with an array of talks and tours exploring our collections, our local history and this season’s theme of the Georgians.
Join Gunnersbury curator Julia Tubman on a tour around the Museum as she explores some of the fascinating stories of women featured in galleries; including Hannah Rothschild, Jessica Huntley, Elizabeth I and Pocahontas. Following this, sit down with a cup of tea to hear:

Miss Smee – Acton’s First Lady – Dr. Jonathan Oates, London Borough of Ealing Archivist
