Gin & the Georgians

Tuesday 2 July

The elegance and extravagance of life in Georgian Britain and its love of ‘Mother’s ruin’ will be served up in this engaging talk,
led by historian and broadcaster Dr. Annie Gray of BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet. As well as a talk on this scourge of the masses, and ruin of the rich, we thought it would only be fair to have a taste as well. Annie Gray specialises in the history of food and dining in Britain from 1600 to the present day, and has advised on the presentation of Gunnersbury’s own Historic Kitchens.
