Award-winning textile artist Ruth Singer discusses Criminal Quilts; an art and heritage project inspired by photographs and documents relating to women held in Stafford Prison 1877 – 1916 . Discover how Ruth’s love of history and passion for textiles has shaped her creative practice and led to this beautiful and thought-provoking exhibition. Criminal Quilts will be on display in the Museum during the Quilting Bee weekend.
