20th July & 28th September

Come bat spotting at the Potomac Lake with our expert guides. This beautiful and secret corner of the park is visited by several species of bats coming to feed on insects at dusk at night. You’ll learn to identify different bat species from the high pitched sounds they emit as well as witnessing their amazing aerial manoeuvres as they swoop and glide above our heads. Wear strong shoes (no flip flops or high heels) and warm clothing as this event happens after dark and is on rough paths. Bring a small torch if you have one.
